Keep in mind this was a quickie! The final version would have sharper images, better fonts, etc. This page takes a long time to load as the background is all one image. The final version would have the background split up into many images and load very fast!
None of the links on here work, they're there for show. You should always embed links in your content so the reader can click through as they read.
Your homepage needs to have some content to draw the viewer in. Simply listing your other pages in a navigation bar, as your current site does, is boring! A website viewer decides within 3 seconds if they want to stay on your site or move on. You want them to stay.
We would probably change the china pattern, to the right, and the stuffed tomato image, to the left, per page. It would keep the site interesting and provide a change of color.
